Our work in Uganda

In Uganda we work with 50,000 girls and boys from 85 communities.  Our education work starts by ensuring that children have the best foundations possible to make sure that by the time children get to school they are ready to learn.  In school we ensure that children are able to learn in a supportive environment where they feel safe and protected and receive an education that prepares them for later in life.  Supporting children’s wellbeing is at the heart of what we do and a particular focus is given to ensuring that girls’ are able to enjoy the same freedoms to education as boys.
